About Pat Sheridan

Pat joined the Fire Service in 1992 and following his initial training was posted to Egham where he served until he moved into training and development at the Service Headquarters. He served as one of the services Breathing Apparatus Instructors and later became the lead Road Traffic Collision Instructor for the Service.

Pat has worked within the Training and Development environment and with his extensive knowledge of pre hospital casualty care and his enthusiasm and excellent teaching skills; he has lead teams to exponentially increasing their skills in saving lives. Pat has achieved a BA (Hons) Degree in teaching and education.

Pat is an Immediate Emergency Care Responder instructor (IECR) and also very experienced Road Traffic Collision Instructor with plenty of operational experience.

Pat is also an experienced United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) assessor at Regional, National and International level for vehicle extrication and also the deputy education lead for UKRO who helps set the standards for services attending road traffic collisions in the UK.

Pat is the deputy director for a fire service charity project in Serbia and has been so for the past 3 years. He has good experience teaching in difficult locations and teaching through interpreters.
