COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course forms part of the ‘Pre-Hospital Care’ section of our specialist first aid courses.
We at IRRTC have two courses specifically designed for the Pre-Hospital Care for any organisation that wishes to provide an effective emergency response themselves until further help arrives in immediate emergency care (IEC).
In addition to the 2-day intermediate level, emergency care ISO 9001 course which uses the same syllabus and skills as our advanced but is simpler and less detailed, interventions such as traction splints and analgesia are not included. The 2-day course focuses on more basic skills for lower-risk environments.
Our 3-day advance level, emergency care ISO 9001 course covers all elements defined by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care and meets requirements for College of Policing Module 5 D13E and F3, as well as setting a benchmark for Fire and Rescue Services in casualty care standards proposed by National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC).
Delivered at a ratio of 6:1 for maximum practical student exposure. Our 3 days advanced – PHEM Level D/E includes pre-course learning and an E-PDF course manual.
The course is very practical and immersive, delivered at our excellent rural training facility with a myriad of environments, props, and if required live role player actors.
The course can also be delivered at the client’s venue adapting to the individual organisations working environment to achieve the desired outcomes and upskill of attendees.
Certificate valid for 3 years with yearly refresher days.
